Zamalek Club announced on Saturday that they have reached an agreement with French coach Patrice Carteron to extend his stay with the team for another season.

The club's management didn't disclose the financial details.

"Carteron agreed to extend his contract with Zamalek," the Whites' Chairman Mortada Mansour told the club's TV channel.

"The French coach will sign a one-year contract extension after agreeing with the management and they are currently drafting the terms.

"The Zamalek coach agreed on the fees and everything is going well," the club's president added.

A former Ahly and Raja Casablanca of Morocco coach, Carteron helped Zamalek snatch the African Super Cup and Egyptian Super Cup titles and reach the African Champions League semi-finals.
