The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) revealed on Wednesday the domestic league's fixture list for the next three rounds (23rd, 24th and 25th), which will start on 29 August.

The 24th round will see a tough clash between Zamalek and Pyramids FC on 3 September as both sides compete for an African Champions League spot.

The EFA said it will announce further dates for the remaining league fixtures when it knows when Ahly, Zamalek and Pyramids will play their respective games in their African campaigns.

Ahly and Zamalek are scheduled to face Moroccan duo Wydad and Raja respectively in the Champions League semis during the last week of September.

Pyramids will also feature in the last four of the Confederation Cup, Africa's secondary club competition.

The Egyptian Premier League returned to life on 6 August after around five months of suspension due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The EFA had announced last month the fixtures of four rounds.

Ahly are leading the league table with 56 points, while perennial rivals Zamalek lie second on 39 points, two ahead of third-placed Arab Contractors and three clear of Pyramids FC.
