Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes posted collective gains during this week’s trading, according to the bourse’s weekly report released on Thursday.
The market capital gained EGP 13.9 billion to reach EGP 630.5 billion compared with EGP 616.6 billion in the previous week, recording an increase of 2.3%.
The EGX 30 benchmark index went up by 2.71 percent to register 11,462.45 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 7.52 percent to stand at 1,802.16 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index went up by about 6.22 percent to settle at 2,731.76 points.
