One of the best Arab singers, Syrian star Assalah Nasri, will be performing a concert at the historic landscape of the Great Pyramids of Giza on New Year’s Eve.

“We are honoured to bring you a once in a lifetime concert,” stated Zed Entertainment, the organisers of the event.

Booking will open in the coming days.

Assalah is currently celebrating her latest releases, including a single released Monday entitled El-Farq Kabir (“The Difference is Big”); a romantic pop song that marks her first collaboration with Saudi Arabia's Chairman of General Authority for Entertainment Turki Al-Alshikh, who is the lyricist of the Saudi-dialect song.

“In this song, I agreed to leave the effects of my wounds and the remainder of my tears, with my voice this time,” stated Assalah emotionally, thanking her fans and collaborators that also include Kuwaiti Composer Nawaf Abdullah and Egyptian Arranger Khaled Ezz.

Assalah, 51, has enjoyed wide success in the Arab world, and has also hosted tens of the best-known Arab musicians in her successful TV show Sola in which featured guests play live.

Assalah's last album entitled La Testaslim (“Don’t Give Up”) was released two months ago, gaining tens of millions of listens throughout various platforms. The album features collaborations with some of the most prominent Arab musicians including some from the Gulf and Egypt.

Egypt resumed public cultural activities in July following a four-month COVID-19 lockdown, with all events being held under strict safety measures that include social distancing, obligatory face masks, and sanitising. The country is expected to host a variety of cultural and entertainment events in different touristic cities during the winter season of Christmas and New Year's Eve.
