A series of concerts to celebrate Valentine's day, featuring known singers from Egypt and other Arab countries, will continue until Monday
Lebanese famous Pop Singer Carole Samaha has opened on Thursday the Cairo Opera House's five-day Valentine's celebrations with a concert at the big hall.
Accompanied by Conductor Mohamed El-Mougi's Orchestra, Carole Samaha performed a selection of her romantic original songs like Ghaly Alaya, Ensa Homoumak, Habeit Delwat, Sahranein and others in addition to a few covers for evergreen songs like Matfotnish Ana Wahdi and Ana Ba'sha'ak.
The concert also featured pianist Hamada El-Najjar performing some love tunes like Medly Hob and Shayef El-Bahar, in addition to another performance by Egyptian pop singer Ahmed Gamal who introduced some of his originals like Edhaky, Mesh Keteer, Ad Nour El-Shams and others in addition to a selection of covers.
The Cairo Opera celebrations of the Valentine's Day will continue on Friday with a concert for Jannat, a day before hosting Mai Farouk and Medhat Saleh.
On Sunday; Hany Shaker and Ahmed Saad will share the stage as the festivals concludes on Monday with Ali El-Haggar and Eman Abdel-Ghani.
All concerts take place at the Cairo Opera's main hall at 8pm. The opera's management assures that all precautionary measures are put in place for all the concerts to ensure the audience's safety.
