Newly-inaugurated President Mohamed Morsi and military council head Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi will attend graduation ceremonies for the 63rd class of Egypt's Naval Military Academy and the 40th class of Egypt's Civil Aviation Academy on Thursday, Morsi spokesman Yasser Ali stated on Wednesday.

The graduation ceremonies are expected to be attended by a number of government ministers and armed forces leaders.

The ceremonies will include military parades and a marital demonstration by Egyptian Special Forces.

Morsi is Egypt's first freely-elected head of state and the first Egyptian president of a non-military background.
