Joseph Koto has been appointed as Senegal's full-time coach for the rest of 2014 World Cup qualifiers
Senegal football association announced on Thursday that interim coach Joseph Koto will continue his mission as Senegal's coach until the end of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
Koto was named as interim coach last February after the dismissal of Coach Amara Traoure following to Senegal's poor performance in the last African Cup of Nations.
Under Koto's guidance, Senegal picked four points from their two first games in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers after a home 3-1 win over Liberia and a 1-1 draw in Uganda to lead the group J.
''The Senegal football association opted for Joseph Koto following to his good results with the National team in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers" read a statement on the Senegal FA official website.
The Senegalese coach is also coach of Senegal's -23 national team who will play in this month Olympic Games London 2012.
