Cairo, Alexandria and Mansoura are to witness a three-day music and dance programme starting on 11 October
Artbeat combines live music with art and dance out across three major cities. The festival brings together 11 local and seven international bands, performing in Cairo, Alexandria and Mansoura.
"Arts, Crafts and Music are three aspects of life that fit together perfectly. For this reason, the creative minds from Darb 1718 Contemporary Art and Culture Center are once again uniting with the musical minds from the Cairo Jazz Club Agency to bring to you the Artbeat Festival in 2012," reads the press release.
Artbeat is an interesting concept; it strives to bring a range of arts and music events together, to be enjoyed by Egyptians from all walks of life.
