The number of Syrians fleeing civil war to neighbouring Lebanon has now topped 100,000, the UN refugee agency said Tuesday.
"Lebanon has become the third country in the region to see its population of registered Syrian refugees and people waiting for registration (exceed) the 100,000 mark," the UNHCR said in a statement, adding that the number of Syrian refugees in Turkey and Jordan had already passed that mark.
