Novel by Naglaa Mouharram seeks to uncover real lives of Ancient Egyptians without the legends and magic

Nile River publishing house has released a new book titledRanzy Ya Zel Alillah,(Ranzy, O God’s Shadow)by the Egyptian writer Naglaa Mouharram. The novel seeks to uncover the secrets of the Ancient Egyptians aside from the mythologies of the Pharaohs and the magic they were said to use.

Mouharram says she tried to show how Egyptians dressed and ate, their relationship to religion and the state structures of power.
