Egypt’s Mohamed Zidan steers Bani Yas to a 3-1 victory over Al-Nasr in the United Arab Emirates league on Friday

Egyptian forward Mohamed Zidan marked his first start after recovering from injury with two late goals as Bani Yas claimed a 3-1 win over Al-Nasr in the UAE league on Saturday.

Zidan gave his side a 2-1 lead with two minutes remaining when he held off three challengers inside the area to fire home on the turn.

He ensured victory deep in stoppage time after finishing off a counter attack.

The 30-year-old came on as a second-half substitute in last week’s 2-0 defeat by Al-Wehda after recovering from a hamstring injury he sustained on his debut with the club in September.
