Campaign to promote gender, religious and cultural tolerance will begin Wednesday at El Sawy Culturewheel; 4-day event will include musical performances, workshops and discussion groups
El Sawy Culturewheel is launching a campaign to promote tolerance in collaboration with UN Egypt and a number of NGOs. The focus of ‘Tolerance Days’ will be on gender, religion, and culture.
The four-day event will feature workshops, discussions and performances by Masar Egbari, Ana Masry, Mascara, and the Puppet Theatre.
NGOs and institutions supporting the campaign include Egyptian Centre for Women's Rights, Swedish Institute, New Women Foundation, Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Liberty in Egypt, Centre for Egyptian Women's Legal Assistance, Anna Lindh Foundation, IBM Corporate Citizenship Department, and UN Egypt.
