Palestinian killed by Israeli troops in occupied West Bank after he allegedly tried to attack them with an axe following a car accident
Israeli troops shot dead an axe-wielding Palestinian as he approached their vehicle after it flipped in an accident in the northern West Bank on Monday, Israeli police said.
"While the soldiers were trying to get out, a Palestinian approached them with an axe and tried to attack the soldiers. The soldiers shot him dead," police spokeswoman Luba Samri told AFP.
