Ahly's forward says he accepts the decision of national team Bob Bradley to keep him out of Tuesday's World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe

Ahly's forward Abdallah El-Said said Tuesday he is not angry at the decision of the Pharaohs' coach to keep him on the bench during Egypt's 2-1 win over Zimbabwe in a World Cup qualifier, adding the victory was more important than his participation.

The 27-year-old, who produced a string of strong performances with Ahly this season, has failed to convince coach Bob Bradley to include him in the playing squad.

"I am not angry for my absence from this important clash," El-Said told Ahly's official website Wednesday."It was the coach's decision and as a player I should respect his decision."

Al-Said confirmed that Ahly players are ready to win their upcoming clash against Gouna in the Egyptian League.

Gouna will host Ahly on the 8th match day of the league (Group A)."The players are ready to defeat Gouna to advance in the Egyptian League," El-Said affirmed.

Ahly, who have two games in hand, are second in Group A with 12 points, three points behind group leaders ENPPI.
