CAF president Issa Hayatou revealed on Tuesday that the African Youth Championship has been moved from Libya to South Africa
“We decided to move the African Youth Championship to South Africa and it will be played from 17 April to 2 May,” Hayatou told Reuters on Tuesday.
“The Executive Committee took that decision on Tuesday. It will be announced officially on Thursday,” he added.
The African Youth Championship was initially scheduled to take place in Libya between March 18 and April 1 but was postponed because of the ongoing rebellion against the Muammar Gaddafi-led regime.
