The Egyptian Popular Current has called for demonstrations on Sunday in Talaat Harb Square against foreign military intervention in Syria.
The Nasserist movement posted its call on an official facebook account under the banner, "Here is Damascus", saying it opposed foreign military intervention and a US-led assault on Syria.
The demonstration is to take place at 5pm on Sunday.
