Families of demonstrators killed during Egypt's revolution protest the release of the policemen allegedly responsible for their death
An Alexandria court orders the re-arrest of the three police officers accused of killing demonstrators during Egypt’s 25 January revolution. According to the court ruling the officers will be detained for another 15 days.
Families of the victims staged several demonstrations when the accused officers were released earlier this week.
The officers are allegedly responsible for the deaths of tens of demonstrators and their actions also resulted in the injury of many more during the events that unfolded after 25 January.
Officer Wael Komy is accused of killing 37 protesters, while the two other officers, Moataz Askalany and Mohamed Safaan, are accused of killing tens.
