Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah continues his impressive streak with Basel, scoring in his side's 2-1 win over Lausanne Sunday
Mohamed Salah scored his third goal with Basel in the Swiss League this season in Sunday's 2-1 win over Lausanne. His goal was the first for Basel in the match.
With Lausanne one up, the 21-year-old scored the equaliser with a low 25-metre shot in the 39th minute.
The international winger was replaced in the 85th minute as Basel's coach decided to secure his lead.
Salah was on target during the 3-1 win over FC Aarau in the Swiss League opener in July before scoring against Sion last Saturday.
His impressive performance is a great boost for Pharaohs' coach Bob Bradley before the Ghana clash scheduled 15 October in the World Cup play-offs.
The former winger of Arab Contractors is vital in Bradley's line-up.
