Labib El-Sebaie has been appointed as Al-Ahram’s chairman and Abdel-Azim Hamad its editor-in-chief
Labib El-Sebaie is the new chairman of Al-Ahram with Abdel-Azim Hamad the new editor-in-chief. The appointments were made on Wednesday as part of the cabinet’s implementation of its plan to replace the leading figures within the state media's institutions.
Alaa Sabet was installed as Al-Messa's editor-in-chief.
Below are the new chairmen and editors-in-chief across the state media's institutions:
Dar El-Tahrir: Kaled Bakeer (chairman) - Mahmoud Nafe (Gomhoria editor-in-chief) - Khaled Anwar (Gomhoria Book) - Gamal Abou-Beh (Al-Messa editor-in-chief).
Dar El-Hilal: Helmi El-Nemnem (chairman)
Akhbar Al-Youm’s editors-in-chief: Mohsen Hassanein (October Magazine) – Al-Sayed Ibrahim Al-Nagaar (Akhbar Al-Youm) – Ibrahim Kaoud (Akhersaa) – Gamal Al-Zoheri (Akhbar Al-Riadah) – Wael Aboul-Saoud (Akhbar Al-Hawades) – Mohamed Abdullah (Sabah Al-Kheir)
MENA: Adel Abdul Aziz (chairman)
