Egypt constitution polls in March 2011 and December 2012: A comparison
Ahram Online, Wednesday 15 Jan 2014

Egypt has seen two constitutional referendums since the 25 January revolution that ousted dictator Hosni Mubarak.

On 19 March 2011 an interim constitutional declaration was put to a public referendum by the then-ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF).

The second referendum in December 2012 was on Egypt's first post-revolution national charter, drafted by an Islamist-dominated constituent assembly under the rule of now-deposed president Mohamed Morsi and dissolved after his ouster on 3 July.
