ENPPI, Arab Contractors win in Egypt's Premier League

ENPPI beat Gouna, Arab Contractors take over Ghazl El-Mahalla in the 5th matchday of the Egyptian Premier league on Saturday


A goal in the 42nd minute by forward Salah Ashour helped ENPPI beat Gouna 1-0 in the 5th matchday of the Egyptian Premier League on Saturday.

It's the second win for the petroleum side in this campaign, after defeating Ghazl El-Mahalla two weeks ago.

ENPPI are ranked 4th in the Egyptian Premier League Group A teams' table with seven points.

Arab Contractors smashed Ghazl El-Mahalla 4-0 when striker Mohamed Farouk scored twice in the 12th and 90th minutes, with Mohamed Salim, 17, Mohamed Rezk, 61, giving the Yellow team the upper hand of the game.

Arab Contractors are second in the Egyptian Premier League Group A teams' table with eight points, one behind leaders Ahly.

Dakhelya and El-Entag El-Harby settled on a 2-2 draw in the third game of the 5th matchday.

El-Entag's Bassin Morsi opened the scoring two minutes before the break. Kwabina Yaro then doubled the score in the 67th minute, but Dakhelya came back to the game and managed to score two goals, Ahmed Farag, 82, Sano Youssef, 90.
