Egypt manager Shawky Gharib has expressed his satisfaction over the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers draw held in the CAF headquarters in Cairo on Sunday.

"I have a target and it is to qualify for the finals in Morocco, no matter what the names of the opponents are," the 55-year-old tactician said after the draw ceremony.

The Pharaohs, who failed to qualify for the last two successive editions of the tournament, will be competing in Group G with powerful Tunisia and Senegal alongside the winners of match 39 and 40.

"We are determined to take back the title we've been missing since 2010," added Gharib, who assisted the successful coach Hassan Shehata during three successive titles in 2006, 2008 and 2010.

"We are ready for the anticipated clashes in September with a preparation plan I will be presenting to the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) soon," he concluded.

Gharib was appointed in November after Egypt's former manager, American Bob Bradley, resigned from his post when he failed to reach the 2014 World Cup.

Egypt are the record winners of the Nations Cup with seven titles under their belt, winning in 1957, 1959, 1986, 1998, 2006, 2008 and 2010.
