Egypt defender Ahmed Hegazi has resumed full training after missing yesterday's session due to fatigue ahead of the Pharaohs' trip to Volgograd for their final World Cup group fixture against Saudi Arabia.

While the West Bromwich center-back has managed to return to full training, fellow defender Omar Gaber is still out with a thigh injury.

Both Egypt and Saudi Arabia had been formally eliminated from the group stage, with hosts Russia and Uruguay securing qualification ahead of the final group game.

Egypt suffered 1-0 and 3-1 defeats to Uruguay and Russia respectively, while Saudi Arabia were thrashed 5-0 in the World Cup opener by the hosts before losing 1-0 to Luis Suarez and co.
