Kahraba got his nickname, which means electricity in English, from his dynamic style of play. He could either play out wide or as a forward in the middle, giving coach Hector Cuper many options upfront.

He is a natural winger but has been used by Cuper in all attacking positions, including the number 9.

Kahraba is quite adept at sprinting into space behind the opposition's defence with his trademark off-the ball runs, as well as targeting any gaps in opposing backlines.

With such dangerous moves without the ball, the energetic Kahraba has continually proved vital for his Saudi side Ittihad Jeddah, where he spent the last two seasons on loan from Cairo giants Zamalek.

In 2016, he took the Saudi league by storm, scoring 16 goals in 20 games but he failed to keep up his form in 2017, scoring only four goals in 24 matches.

He is not likely to guarantee a place in Cuper's starting XI though, with Mohamed Salah and Mahmoud 'Trezeguet' looking to have reserved their positions on the flanks.

But the left-footed Kahraba could still offer different dimensions to Egypt's game should Cuper decide to call him on off the bench.
