VIDEO: Thousands celebrate Moulid Al-Hussein in Islamic Cairo

The event, which honors the grandson of the Prophet Mohammed, lasts three days

Thousands of Egyptians celebrated Moulid Al-Hussein on Tuesday night. The Moulid, also known as the "big night," honours Hussein, the grandson of the Prophet Mohammed. The event lasts for three days on the grounds of the Al-Hussein mosque in the heart of Islamic Cairo.
