Thousands gather at Cairo's High Court on the anniversary of 6 April to protest against the prosecutor-general and Muslim Brotherhood rule

Thousands gathered at downtown Cairo's High Court on the anniversary of the historic 6 April 2008 strike.

Members of 6 April Youth and other parties and movements including the Constitution Party marched from a number of locations across Cairo, ending outside the prosecutor-general's office.

Demonstrators were calling for the continuation of the revolution, and protesting against Muslim Brotherhood rule and the prosecutor-general.
