Today the death of Army General Saad El Dine El Shazly was announced. El Shazly was the chief of army operations from May 1971 until December 1973.
Born in April 1922 in the Al-Gharbia governorate, El Shazly was famed for debating the responsibility of the El-Defreswar problem during the 1973 war.
