Ghana director tips Egypt for AFCON 2025 glory, likens Salah’s impact to Messi

German coach Winfried Schafer, the Ghana FA’s technical director, has tipped Egypt to win the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, saying Mohamed Salah could inspire the Pharaohs in a manner similar to Lionel Messi’s role in Argentina’s 2022 World Cup triumph.
