Egypt is approaching the end of its nearly four-year IMF program with stronger foreign-exchange buffers and greater resilience to external shocks, but the country still needs to address its weak export performance to avoid returning to the cycle of currency crises and external financing pressures, a Bloomberg economist told Ahram Online.
