Esperance have already one foot in the group stage of the CAF Champions League after a large 5-0 win over their Senegalese visitors ASC Diaraf in the first leg of the third round.

Dramane Traore, 10, Oussama Darragi, 12, 31-pen, Idriss Mhirsi, 42, and Youssef Msakni, 50, scored for the hosts to ease their mission ahead of the return leg in two weeks.

In Casablanca, Wydad defeated the two-time defending champion TP Mazembe 1-0 courtesy to a goal from Mustapha Allaoui in the 16thminute.

However the tie is far from over as the Moroccans will have to fight hard in the return leg in Lubumbashi against a tough and offensive minded opponent who will play on home soil.
