Cameroon’s Mbia out until mid-May

Marseille's title-chasing aspirations were dealt a blow on Monday with news that Cameroon centre-back Stephane Mbia will likely be out until mid-May with a groin problem

"The news isn't good," said Marseille coach Didier Deschamps. "He has muscular problems in the groin and I don't think he'll be able to come back before mid-May."

Mbia was replaced in the seventh minute of League Cup final on Saturday which Marseille won, defeating Montpellier 1-0.
