Ismaily claim a difficult win against Petrojet Wednesday with a late goal by Ghanaian striker John Antwi

Ghanaian striker John Antwi scored a late goal to give Ismaily a precious 2-1 win over Petrojet Wednesday.

Petrojet made a perfect start with a goal in the 24th minute, thanks to Mohamed Shaarawi. But Ismaily international defender Shawqui El-Said scored an equaliser in the 74th minute.

Ghanaian striker John Antwi scored the winner with five minutes remaining at the end of the game, giving his side three precious points.

Ismaily advanced to 13rd place with two points while Petrojet fell to 18th place in the Egyptian League.

FIFA stripped six points from the costal side who failed to fulfill their financial obligations towards former team striker John Owoeri.

Earlier in the day, Maqassa were held to a 1-1 draw by Damanhour.
