Everton manager Roberto Martinez has expressed his gratitude for the performance of his team's Cameroonian striker Samuel Eto'o during their 3-1 win over Burnley in the 9th matchday of the English Premier League on Sunday.

The 33-year-old Cameroonian attacker Eto'o, who joined Everton last summer, scored twice and played an effective role in Everton's win over Burnley.

Martinez believes Eto'o is the player who can make changes on the team, as he's one of their most effective players.

"When he (Eto'o) is in that type of form, he can play anywhere," Martinez was quoted as saying on Sky Sports News HQ.

"I think what he brings is a real know-how, a real experience," the Everton manager added.

"I thought the performance he (Eto'o) had today, I'm sure that everyone will speak about the goals and what he did in front of goal, but I was so pleased with the role that he had off the ball and the way he worked for the team."

The former Barcelona and Inter Milan ace joined Everton last August on a two-year deal after he was released by Premier League leaders Chelsea.
