Egypt's national team is continuing preparations for the upcoming 2015 African Cup of Nations qualifier games against Senegal and Tunisia.
Under the helm of coach Shawky Gharib, Egypt's technical staff are set to give pep talks to Chelsea forward Mohamed Salah, who was left out of the Blues' squad during the 2-1 win over Liverpool in the English Premier League Saturday.
The 22-year-old attacker is currently missing from Chelsea's starting lineup as he failed to meet coach Jose Mourinho's expectations.
Salah, who scored twice in Egypt's two straight wins over Botswana, has already been selected in a list of six foreign-based players for the two Egypt games.
Egypt take on Senegal in a do-or-die clash before facing Tunisia away from home five days later as they seek to reach the African Nations Cup for the first time since lifting the last of their record seven titles in 2010.
The Pharaohs are training in Cairo Stadium as they await the arrival of the remaining foreign-based players who still have games in the European leagues on Sunday.
Coach Gharib is concentrating on preparing the players physically and psychologically after discussing Senegal's previous games using video footage.
Third in Group G with six points, Egypt have no choice but to beat second-placed Senegal (seven points) to keep their hopes alive in the cup qualifiers.
