Official Lecture's Poster
The American University in Cairo Center for Translation Studies, will host Philosophy professor and director of the Egyptian National Centre for Translation, Anwar Moghith, on Tuesday, 18 Nov at 6:00pm, to lecture on "Translating Philosophy".
Moghith will deliver the lecture in Arabic at the historic Oriental Hall at the AUC Tahrir Campus.
Anwar Moghith is a Philosophy professor at Helwan University, he is also a well-known translator that translated some of the most sophisticated contemporary philosophical texts such as Jacques Derrida’s seminal De la Grammatologie (Of Grammatology) and Alain Touraine’s Critique de la Modernite (Critique of Modernity).
