Egyptian political activists call for a peaceful rally in front of the Saudi embassy’s ‎headquarters Tuesday morning

Egyptian political activists called for a peaceful rally in front of the Saudi embassy’s ‎headquarters Tuesday morning to protest against Saudi Arabia’s alleged interference in ‎local political issues.‎

The oil-rich country has objected to the detention of toppled Egyptian president Hosni ‎Mubarak and his imminent trial on charges of corruption, illicit profiteering and ordering the killing of ‎peaceful protesters in the January 25 Revolution. ‎

Activists also wish to reclaim Mubarak family’s assets in Saudi Arabia ‎and the release of the Egyptian detainees in the Gulf country, among other demands.‎
