Egypt's market starts week in green

High turnover and foreign buying lifts bourse on Sunday, as main index up 0.79 percent

Egypt's market continued to make gains for the fourth consecutive session amid high turnover and foreign buying.

The benchmark index EGX30 increased 0.79 percent to 9,533 points and daily stock turnover registered LE776.5 million

Egyptian investors were net sellers to the tune of LE15.4 million while non-Arab foreign investors were net buyers for LE9.7 million.

Market bellwether Commercial International Bank (CIB) rose 0.63 percent to LE50.71 per share and Egypt's leading investment bank EFG-Hermes was up 0.58 percent to LE18.5 per share.

Pioneers Holding climbed 6.45 percent to LE13.9 per share.

Real estate developer TMG holding gained 2.29 to LE10.66 per share and Six of October Development and Investment Company (SODIC) increased 2.02 percent to LE16.2 per share.

The broader index EGX70 inched up 0.29 percent.
