Zamalek will be aiming to bounce back from the latest draw with Ismaily when they face Maqassa in the Egyptian Premier League on Tuesday.

The Whites ended a five-match winning streak after the draw with the Dervishes to miss a precious chance to lead the league table.

As they currently lie second with 22 points, beating Maqassa will help them reduce the reduce the gap with leaders ENPPI.

On Tuesday, goalkeeper Ahmed El-Shenawy will remain on the sidelines as he continues to suffer from a calf injury, while international winger Hazem Emam will be available after recovering from an injury.

Defender Omar Gaber could miss the match as he suffers a muscular strain, while Burkina Faso's Mohamed Kofi will be still away due to suspension.

Zamalek's football director Ismail Youssef believes that the draw against Ismaily will not affect his player's determination to continue the campaign for the league title successfully.

"The technical staff warned the players form Maqassa's high ambitions. It is a respectable team that achieved good results in recent matches," Youssef was quoted as saying by Reuters.

"We stressed that our players must make the best use of the chances they get against the goal," he added.

Despite seeing his team struggling at seventh place, Maqassa coach Ehab Galal is confident of his team abilities to win.

"Zamalek match will be very difficult especially as it directly comes after their draw with Ismaily and sure their main target will be to recover," Galal explained.

"We respect Zamalek but we will keep the balance between defense and striking. I have full confidence in my players to our strategy," he added.
