FIFA head of security Chris Eaton tells The Associated Press that two Singaporean men suspected of fixing international matches in Bahrain and Turkey have been identified as "middle level" operators.
Eaton says FIFA is aiming higher up the crime scheme's hierarchy.
The former Interpol operations manager says he has FIFA President Sepp Blatter's support "to go about this most aggressively." FIFA announced a ¤20 million ($29 million) project with Interpol on Monday to fight match-fixing over the next 10 years by educating players, referees and officials worldwide.
