A goal from Rami Rabia and a late brace from Mahmoud 'Kahraba' Abdel-Moneam helped Egypt get a first-leg advantage in the first round of an All-Africa Games qualifier.
The Pharaohs opened their account just before the break thanks to nice header from Sporting Lisbon defender Rami Rabia.
Despite their domination in terms of possession during the second-half, the Pharaohs failed to score from their many goal-scoring chances.
Kahraba made it 2-0, eight minutes from time before converting a penalty in injury time.
The second-leg will be played at the end of this month in Kenya.
