Ahly was hit by a minor fire in the locker room of Mokhtar El-Tetsh stadium during the morning training session on Monday.
The cause of fire was reported as an electric malfunction.
The fire was quickly extinguished without any reported injuries and the team resumed their training.
The Egyptian champions are preparing for the CAF Champions League to kick-off when they visit Rwandan minnows A.P.R on 12 March for the first leg of the competition's round of 32.
