In memory of her recent passing, Egypt's Postal Authority announced it is producing stamps that feature the portrait of beloved Egyptian actress Faten Hamama.

Khaled Negm, head of the authority, said that the new stamps will be available for sale at the main postal office in Attaba starting next week, according to Al-Ahram Arabic news website.  

Other cinema icons that were featured on postage stamps include Henri Barakat, Salah Abou Seif and Hassan El-Imam.   

Hamama, one of Egypt's and the Arab World most celebrated actresses, died in January at the age of 84.
