Between 19 March and 9 April, this year's Downtown Contemporary Arts Festival (DCAF) will include six segments (performing arts, urban visions, music, visual arts, film and special events), each filled with a variety of artistic elements.

The festival will return to several downtown Cairo venues, such as Falaki Theatre, the Greek Campus, Sherazade, the Townhouse Rawabet Theatre, the Goethe Institut, El-Borsa Street and Cinema Odeon where films will be screened in cooperation with Zawya art house.

In addition, DCAF will hold events in two newly incorporated locations: the old French Consulate and Sednaoui department store.
