طولة البال تهدّ الجبال
toulet el-bal tehedd el-gebal
Translation: Persistence can bring down mountains.
Meaning: You can get anywhere you want if you don't give up. There is a possible Christian connection to the saying, as monks often dug their dwellings on mountain sides. But the proverb is common in most cultures, including the English saying that practice makes perfect.
