Ahly duo Peter Ebimobowei and Mohamed Naguib were ruled out of the squad that will play against Ismaily in a league game on Wednesday due to injury, the club announced.
"The two players will not be able to play against Ismaily," Ahly's football director Wael Gomaa told reporters on Monday.
The Nigerian striker suffered a hamstring injury that needs more time for treatment while international defender Naguib is yet to recover from a knee injury picked up during the Pharaohs training camp for Equatorial Guinea's friendly last month.
Defensive midfielder Hossam Ashour however has been declared fit for Wednesday's clash after recovering from a muscle injury that prevented him from playing in his side's African encounter last week against APR of Rwanda.
The defending champions are third in the league table with 39 points, nine behind leaders Zamalek who have played one match more.
