Dah weshshak walla dayy el amar

Translation: Is this your face or the light of the moon?

Meaning: It is so delightful to see you, as if one is looking at a bright moon. The saying is reserved to guests one doesn't see very often. Perhaps relatives living in a village that is distant, 30 or 40 km away, who can only come visit on special occasions, feasts and weddings etc.
