Ahly coach Juan Carlos Garrido has announced a 19-man squad that will travel to Morocco to face Moghreb Tetouan in the CAF Champions League.
The Cairo giants will be hosted by the Moroccan team on 19 April in Tetouan in the first leg of the tournament's round of 16.
The record holders of eight African trophies, Ahly, are set to depart Cairo early on Thursday.
Forwards Emad Meteb, Ahmed Abdel-Zaher and Mohamed Nagy 'Gedo' are out of the travelling squad due to injuries or technical reasons.
The return leg between Ahly and Moghreb Tetouan will be held on 2 May at PetroSport stadium in Cairo.
Ahly's full squad:
Goalkeepers:Sherif Ekrami and Ahmed Adel, Mossaad Awad.
Defenders:Saad Samir, Sherif Hazem, Bassem Ali, Mohamed Hani, Sabri Rahil and Hussein El-Sayed.
Midfielders:Hossam Ghaly, Hossam Ashour, Walid Soliman, Abdallah El-Said, Ramadan Sobhi, Mahmoud Hassan "Trezeguet" and Moemen Zakareya, Karim Bambo
