   مين يشهد للعروسة غير امها

Meen yeshhad lel arousa gheir ommahah

Translation: who would praise the bride more than her mother?

Meaning: Don't expect those who are close to someone to be partial in their opinions. Just because a mother thinks the world of her daughter, this doesn't mean that the daughter is all that perfect. So, if you want to find out the truth, find a neutral observer.
