Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny scored his second goal of the Swiss league this season as Basel claimed a 2-1 home win over Grasshopper on Saturday.
The Egypt international brought Basel level after they trailed to a first-half goal, with his deflected shot from the edge of the area on 55 minutes wrong-footing the keeper.
Davide Calla scored for Basel four minutes later to give the leaders, who are chasing a fifth successive title, all three points.
Elneny's previous Swiss league goal was against the same opponent in February when Basel secured a 4-2 win over Grasshopper.
He was also on target in the Swiss Cup when Basel crushed Winterthur 4-0 in September last year.
