Ivory Coast's former striker Didier Drogba expressed delight after winning his fourth English Premier League title with Chelsea.
Chelsea won the Premier League for the first time in five years on Sunday, securing the title with three games to spare with a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.
"I think I prefer to live with the present and this one is sweet," Drogba was quoted as saying by Skysports when he was asked if this title is different in comparison to his three previous ones with the Blues.
"With me or without me, Chelsea will always be number one.
"I'm happy that I'm part of this but Chelsea is bigger than me and they will always win," the 37-year old player added.
The Ivorian star won the league title in his first stint at Chelsea. He was also part of the team when they won the title in 2004/05, 2005/06 and the 2009/10 seasons.
"It’s the third time here and it's an amazing feeling - fantastic - the fans amazing- you know, they're the best," Drogba said, who rejoined the London-based club in 2014 from Galatasaray, in reference to winning the EPL title twice before at Stamford Bridge.
"A good rest, a good celebration...and that's it," he concluded after a question about what he would do with his future.
Drogab featured for Chelsea in 27 league matches this season, starting in seven and scoring four goals.
